Cake Sandwich

  • Flour (225grams)
  • Butter (225grams)
  • Sugar (225grams)
  • Baking powder (2 tsp)
  • Vanilla (1tsp)
  • Eggs (3large)

FILLING

  • Butter (95grams)
  • Icing sugar (195grams)
  • Crushed oreo cookie
  • Milk ( as required)

METHOD

  • Cream butter and sugar till light and creamy.
  • Add in the flavour and eggs, one at a time ( i weighed my eggs which were 225grams, if your eggs are small use 4, or just weigh them for accuracy)
  • Add in the sifted flour and baking powder.
  • Divide the batter in two 8inch tins and bake in a preheated oven at 180c for 25minutes.
  • Once done allow to cool before spreading the filling.

  • For the filling cream butter and icing sugar till light and pale, and in crushed oreo and milk if needed.
